Welcome to my blog, Strong in Weakness
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Christine. My Medullary Thyroid Cancer diagnosis came at the age of 25 and this blog is an attempt to capture my journey, while I fight and live with this disease. I also want to share what I learn about God and His plan for my life. Finding stories of other people diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer proved very difficult, since there is very little information out there. Most of what I did find, was quite bleak. Which is why I decided to share my story with others. Maybe I can be a help and a testimony to others facing similar struggles.
Inspiration
The inspiration for my blog name comes from a verse that has been a tremendous encouragement for me throughout my experience.
“My grace is sufficient for you: for my Strength is made perfect in Weakness” 2. Corinthians 12:9
I had heard and read this verse many times before. Now it has come to mean so much more to me than ever before. I have no idea why this is happing to me. It is encouraging that even at my weakest point God was and will be there with me. He has and will continue to encompass me with all of his strength. God’s powerful strength is being made perfect through my weakness.

Hope for this blog
As mentioned above, God has been teaching me much, in many different aspects of my life, as I am navigating through all of this. I am so blessed by how He has already used my situation to glorify his name and I hope and pray that He will be able to continue to use me for this purpose. Even though I may not ever know, why this is the way that He chose to do so.
Thank you for following my journey. I pray, my experiences will be a blessing to you. May He bless you richly.
